1. Introduction & Acceptance

By accessing or using trapstats.co.uk ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

TrapStats provides AI-powered analytics, statistical data, and predictions for greyhound racing.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

TrapStats is NOT a bookmaker, betting exchange, or gambling operator. We do NOT accept bets, facilitate wagering, or act as an intermediary for any gambling transactions. TrapStats is an information and analytics service only.

All predictions, tips, and analytical outputs are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Past performance does not guarantee future results. You are solely responsible for any betting decisions you make based on information from this Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to request proof of age and to suspend accounts where age verification cannot be confirmed.

4. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • One account per person — sharing accounts is prohibited
  • You are responsible for the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

5. Subscription Plans & Payment

Free Tier: Limited access at no charge. No payment required.

Paid Plans (Pro, Sharp, API Access):

  • Billed monthly or annually via Stripe
  • Prices shown include applicable VAT (UK: 20%, Ireland: 23%)
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the end of the billing period
  • Annual subscriptions: discount equivalent to approximately 2 months free

Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay.

All payments processed securely by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). We never store your card details.

6. Free Trial

We may offer a 7-day free trial for Pro plans. You may cancel at any time during the trial without charge. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

COOLING-OFF PERIOD: Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel your subscription for a full refund, provided you have not accessed paid content during this period.

If you have accessed paid content within the 14-day period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already provided.

How to cancel:

  1. Via Stripe Customer Portal (Account → Manage Subscription)
  2. By emailing support@trapstats.co.uk

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. After the 14-day cooling-off period, refunds are at our discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

(a) TrapStats provides predictions and analytics "as is" without any warranty, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy or fitness for purpose.

(b) TrapStats shall not be liable for any financial losses, lost profits, or damages arising from your use of the Service, including any betting decisions made based on our predictions.

(c) You acknowledge that greyhound racing outcomes are inherently unpredictable and that no analytical model can guarantee winning results.

(d) Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

(e) Our total aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Irish users: Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory consumer rights under Irish law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022 (Ireland).

9. Intellectual Property

All content on trapstats.co.uk — including predictions, analytics, SHAP explanations, trap heatmaps, algorithms, and design — is the intellectual property of TrapStats.

You may NOT: copy, reproduce, redistribute, scrape, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission. Automated data collection (scraping, bots) is strictly prohibited.

Subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and view content for your own personal use.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Polish law and EU regulations. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Polish courts.

Irish users retain all mandatory consumer protection rights under Irish law that cannot be excluded by contract.

EU users retain all mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable EU consumer protection legislation.

11. Changes to Terms

We will give at least 30 days' notice of material changes to these Terms via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, you may cancel your subscription.

12. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TrapStats.
