How are the greyhound trainer rankings calculated?

Rankings are cumulative for the current season (from 1 January). Trainers are ranked by win strike-rate — wins divided by runs — among those with at least 20 runs; dogs are ranked by wins this season. Each run is attributed to a dog's current known trainer, using public race results from UK and Irish meetings.

How often are the rankings updated?

Every week. Standings are recomputed and each row shows its movement since the previous week — climbed, dropped, or a new entry.

Are these rankings betting tips?

No. TrapStats is a greyhound racing analytics and research platform, not a betting service. The rankings are an informational summary of public race results; all model performance figures elsewhere on the site are simulated/paper.
